The ootouch world
More than twenty years before sustainability became fashionable, we chose bamboo. Pioneers then, passionate still.
A pioneer for over 20 years
ootouch was born from a simple idea: traditional flooring and decking draw on forests that take decades to regenerate, while Moso bamboo regrows within months and stores CO₂ like no other wood. For over twenty years we have turned this insight into exceptional floors, decks and cladding — for private homes as well as the largest public projects.

The journey
The beginnings
More than twenty years ago, when hardly anyone believed in it, ootouch bet on bamboo: a plant that regrows within months, is more stable than oak, and can replace tropical hardwoods. We were among the very first to import bamboo flooring into Europe.
The experience
Selecting Moso forests, densification, heat treatment and finishes: year after year we have learned to get the best out of bamboo. This expertise now lets us guarantee our flooring for up to 30 years and our solid decking for up to 25 years, subject to conditions.
Today
Four collections now cover every part of the home: BambooTouch for indoor flooring, EcooTouch for renovation, DeckooTouch for decking and PanooTouch for fit-out. Concrete answers to traditional flooring and decking.
Tomorrow
What bamboo offers keeps surprising us: negative carbon footprint, record regrowth, natural beauty. Our mission remains unchanged — making these qualities accessible to every project, from the family living room to the international railway station.
