What if 2025 became the year of bamboo in your home? More than a simple trend, bamboo is establishing itself in our interiors with its natural elegance, durability and incredible versatility. From the bathroom to the living room, where it was long confined, through the office and the kitchen, it brings warmth and modernity to every space. ootouch reveals the major trends and innovations that will mark the coming year. Ready to transform your interior with style and awareness?
A material that goes beyond the rooms it was known for
Traditionally associated with the bathroom, bamboo is now making its way into every room of the house. From modern kitchens to cosy living rooms, through sleek offices and comfortable bedrooms, this versatile material continues to surprise with its ability to blend harmoniously into a wide range of decorating contexts.
Its natural, warm aesthetic works as well with minimalist interiors as with more classic decors. Bamboo panels allow you to play with textures and relief, creating unique and refined atmospheres. In kitchens, bamboo worktops are prized for their sturdiness and naturally antibacterial character, while in bedrooms and living rooms it stands out through wall coverings and elegant furniture.
Acoustic wall panels, for example, bring not only a decorative touch but also optimal sound comfort, ideal for home working spaces. These panels reduce noise nuisance while adding a design dimension to offices or meeting rooms. Moreover, thanks to its water-resistant properties, bamboo can also be used in damp rooms, offering a solution that is both aesthetic and functional.

Thanks to ootouch, incorporating bamboo into your home becomes an obvious choice, whether for your flooring, walls or furniture.
New at ootouch: innovation on the agenda
For 2025, ootouch is innovating with Flexibam, a new floor covering range. This laminate product departs from our traditional flooring and adapts perfectly to small spaces. Flexible, water-resistant and easy to install, it is particularly aimed at people looking for a quick and durable solution. With a laminate look, it is a practical alternative to classic flooring while retaining the unique aesthetic of bamboo.
As for colours, at ootouch we are happy to follow the shades of the year, designated by Pantone a few weeks ago. Warm tones such as Mocha Chocolate, which pairs perfectly with shades already popular in our products such as Camel, will be highlighted in 2025. These palettes go perfectly with modern interior trends, fostering soft and welcoming atmospheres.

Choosing the right bamboo flooring
When choosing your flooring, several criteria should be taken into account:
1. The installation type: glued, floating or click-lock boards, which remain very popular for their ease of installation.
2. The finish: oiled or varnished.
3. The tones, always natural and warm, ranging from light to darker depending on the desired style;
4. The rooms where your bamboo products will be installed: with damp areas such as bathrooms requiring more regular maintenance to withstand humidity
And finally certification, with eco-responsible certified products guaranteeing a reduced environmental impact
